I have painted many birds over the years, but to change things up, my focus has expanded towards the beauty beyond those feathered friends.

There is something magical about the quiet moments by the lake. The gentle movement of the water, the reflections dancing across the surface, and the peaceful rhythm of nature have a way of slowing us down and inviting us to simply be present.

The Serene Lake Scenes collection was inspired by those moments of stillness I experience along Lake Norman. Whether I’m boating with my family, taking a stroll by the shoreline, watching the morning light shimmer across the water, or pausing to admire the reflections of the distant treeline, these scenes remind me that beauty often lives in life’s quietest moments.

Each painting in this collection is created to bring that same sense of peace into your home. Through layered textures, soft reflections, and calming color palettes, my hope is that every piece becomes a daily reminder to slow down, breathe deeply, and reconnect with nature.
