What is a Live Guest Portraits Painting?
Live guest portrait paintings are a unique and personalized experience for you and your guests. It is a unique way to capture the special moments from your wedding. Portraits of guests during the wedding are painted real-time at the wedding capturing their personalities. The portraits can turn into a beautiful, one of a kind keepsakes / party favor that guests can cherish forever.
HOW TO GET STARTED?
The first step is to submit the inquiry form below or email directly at poojaroystudio@gmail.com. Pooja will reach out with a few more questions to help her understand your needs and vision. You will be also invited to schedule a call with her to discuss your ideas if you’d like!
THE PROCESS
During the day of the wedding, Pooja and her assistant will arrive at the location and begin setting up the painting station, which would require a table and chairs provided by the client. Guests will come up to the artists table and will have their photo taken in the pose they prefer. Once done taking a photo, they are welcome to hang out and watch the painting process or return back to the wedding festivities. Once the portrait is completed, they will be displayed for guests to admire. Guests are welcome to pick up their finished portrait anytime during the event after completion.
If any guest portraits not completed on time, they will be brought back to the artist’s studio for completion, and a date will be scheduled to deliver or ship them off to the client.
WHAT IS INCLUDED?
Minimum 4 hours on site live painting (can be divided in between cocktail hour and reception).
5x7 Acrylic paintings in protective cellophane sleeves.
THE INVESTMENT
Packages below provide an estimate of pricing, which vary based on the number of guests to be included, and hours needed to complete each portrait. Normally, it takes about 5-10 minutes for Pooja to complete a portrait of max 4 people.
A 25% deposit and a signed agreement are required to secure the date. The remaining balance will be required 1 week before the wedding. I allow a small incremental payment plan till the week leading to the event date.
